On this #GivingTuesday, I wanted to take a moment to reflect and share some of my thoughts on community involvement. I am incredibly open to sharing my talents, resources and energy. I enjoy being able to give of myself to help benefit causes and organizations that I care about. Whether it is through board/committee service, volunteering or financial contributions, I have made a conscious decision to keep causes top of mind and find opportunities to support missions that I am passionate about. Three of these causes are: supporting fellow entrepreneurs, especially female entrepreneurs, assisting young professionals and helping animals.
Both in my hometown and here in Grand Rapids, there are ample opportunities for community involvement. As the Stingray Advisory Group team expands, uncovering your passion and finding ways to get involved are important cornerstones within our organizational culture. I hope today, and every day, you are able to take a moment and reflect on what you have to share with those around you and make a conscious effort to do so.
