Okay, grab your morning coffee and settle in. Organize your paperwork, get logged into your computer, and get to work. Sounds simple, right? Well probably not these days.

For most people who are accustomed to going into an office, working from home may present some new challenges. Whether you're struggling with working by yourself, juggling other home-related responsibilities throughout the day, or just trying to stay motivated, we're here to help.

Here are three tips for working from home:

    1. Try to keep your routine as normal as possible - We know this may be easier said than done but, for most people, maintaining order and structure can help ease any transition. Try getting up at your regular time, take breaks during the day, shut down when you typically would, etc.
    2. Stay connected - For many people, the hardest part of this transition is the lack of human contact, especially if you live alone. Just because you're not in the office doesn't mean you can't chat with your co-workers! Find ways to keep in touch. For example, set up a group Slack chat, schedule a video call, or even a virtual happy hour. Cheers!
    3. Make your workspace work for you - Whether this means that you need to invest in a second monitor, a new chair, flowers, or some colorful decorations, do whatever you need to do to make sure you're comfortable and organized. It can go a long way in making your day-to-day easier.

These are a few simple steps you can take to help ease the transition. What have you done to adjust to your new normal? Comment below!
