Let's get to know Mariolga a little better and discover the impact she's making at Stingray!
1. What's your role at Stingray Advisory Group?
In my role as a Brand Strategist, I focus on creating professional content and developing websites. I really enjoy collaborating with clients to build and refine their websites and landing pages. It's all about making their user experience better! I also love coming up with fresh ideas to keep our strategies innovative and engaging.
The favorite part of my job is getting to know entrepreneurs and their cool businesses. I love hearing about their visions and what they want to achieve. It's very satisfying to be a part of their journey and help them reach their goals. Whether it's creating pages for short-term projects or long term goals for building a full department in web design, I'm excited to help with everything from SEO to creative marketing strategies along the way. It's absolutely rewarding!
2. What would you like to share about your own professional journey?
One accomplishment I'm really proud of is how I approach every little job as a significant step toward helping my clients succeed. Each project, no matter how small, feels like a victory to me. This change in perspective has helped me feel positive about my efforts every day!
Although I try to be optimistic, I do run into challenges. One particular challenge I faced was navigating a website project that ended up over time and had some technical issues. It was a difficult situation, but it helped me realize how vital it is to communicate openly with clients during tough times. I made it a priority to ensure they felt supported and understood, so they knew I wasn't trying to add costs but genuinely wanted to find solutions together. This experience taught me a lot about the value of transparency and trust. It also motivated me to improve my skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript in order for me to handle similar challenges with confidence in the future.
I'd like to also say that for anyone just starting their professional journey, my advice would be to have patience and resilience. It might take a while to find your footing, but don't get overwhelmed. Focus on mastering one thing at a time and before you know it, you'll gain a ton of experience and confidence. Just keep pushing forward!
3. How do I find the balance between work and life?
One thing I truly value is finding a good balance between my personal and professional life. Work can easily take over, so I try to make it a point to do something meaningful each day outside of my job. Whether I'm getting lost in a good book or playing soccer with friends, these activities help me recharge and clear my mind.
My biggest motivation in life is my sister. We often go for walks together and she helps me find that balance. I admire her independence and the way she supports me. Even though she's younger, I find myself looking up to her in many ways. When I'm not hanging out with her, I love challenging myself by pursuing some of my passions, like becoming a better singer or learning to play the drums. These creative outlets are not only fun but also allow me to express myself. Balancing all of this is key for me, as I believe that taking care of myself and maintaining a positive mindset are the keys to doing a great job in everything I pursue.
4. What other insights would you like to share?
I want our clients to know that I'm always here for them and that they can come to me with any challenges they're facing. I truly believe that honesty is at the heart of business success. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where open conversations are heard. I'll listen to your concerns and try my best to help you reach that shooting star goal that you're seeking to reach.
